The one with LUCY! And Project Life Week 2

We have a new family member! Her name is Lucy… she is so stinkin sweet. 2 lbs 8 weeks of cuteness!!!

Can you even contain yourself with her cuteness? Us either! We are all in love over here!!!!!

This week (with the puppy) we were sooooooo busy and my PL took on a simpler look for the week but I still love it. That is what is so much fun about this project is that it can be so eclectic from week to week!:)

So there you have it! Are you doing project life?! If so have you found yuor groove? Are you doing a digital, paper or hybrid album?? I LOVE seeing everyone’s take on this FUN album!

The one with sweet Miss “M”

I love this family. Plain and simple. I have been lucky enough to get to photograph them 3 times in the past couple months and we have had so much fun together! I love big sister, she is so stinkin cute and full of personality, and now Miss M has joined this family and they couldn’t be happier! I hope it shows in these picutures! Thanks for looking!

Congrats guys! Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of those first few precious weeks! I hope to see you soon!

The one with the metamorphosis…..

Hiya friends! I really can’t believe all the new faces I am seeing around here. Hey, if you have a moment, do you mind telling me how you know about my blog? I am just super curious!:) I really appreciate all the comments and support I have been getting so thank you so much!

On a personal note… I CAN’T BELIEVE HOW BIG my “little” girl is getting. She is changing every day…..

The journaling in the lower left reads:
“its an amazing experience watching you change into a young lady”

When I sat down to do this layout I knew a couple things.

1. I wanted to use a color I don’t often use ( choose green)

2. I wanted to create sort of a monochromatic color scheme with some added mustard yellows to just break up the green enough to define it.

3. I wanted some sense of movement on the picture

4. I wanted the light from the picture to radiate through the elements as well. I think the yellow helps me to do that as it seems like the shine is almost bouncing all the pictures.

Do you ever challenge youself to do something out of the box? Do you enjoy making layouts all of one color? If you feel inspired to do so after seeing mine, will you link me up to your layout? I would adore to leave some love!

Okay, friends …I am still getting an error message on my link manager so I will get back to you with more info soon!
But for this challenge its SUPER easy just SHOP YOUR STASH for all the the same color! Just keep pulling all the “greens’ until you have enough to do the layout want! Don’t forget your inks & misters!!!

Talk to you soon! xoxo

The one with Week 1 of PL & 8x8s!

Hiya friends! Thanks so much for coming back this week! I was suprised to see so many new faces! So exciting!:)Thank you!!!

I am having so much fun scrapping with project that I have actually been scrapping some 8x8s (I haven’t scrapped in this format since I was a digital scrapbooker.
I am still working on how to photograph my PL pages, so please forgive me!:)
How are you doing? Will you link me to your pages? I  would love to see what you are up to and leave some love!!! xoxox
Sorry my link manager was acting up so I wasn’t able to add all the links, but I do have some for you!!!:)

Thank you so much! See you soon.

the one with the project life title page

Hiya friends! I have decided to start project life for 2012 in an effort to record our day to day during my husband’s deployment.  If you have any questions please feel free to contact me, its such a fun process!! Below my pages I will link you up to the products I used but please keep in mind you don’t NEED these products, you could use your stash or simply the core kit.  I had fun using a little of both!:)

So this is the title page (the first page you see when you open up the album). The rest of the pages will be week in reviews. I really wanted this page to reflect the main reason I an embarking on this project, Jonathan’s deployment.I want him to be able to look at this when he gets back and see exactly what we have been up to!

A couple things to note: the map I cut using my silhouette cameo which is linked below. Also we tucked our New Year’s resolutions in one of the pockets to look back on next year.

Here are links to the products I used so you can get an idea:

There is a whole world of information on this project over at Becky Higgins . Enjoy!!! See you soon
